Ryan, Mindy, and Lily

Have a kid's room, or secondary area that needs a re-do, but don't want to break the bank on custom furnishings or wait months for made-to-order items? RTS Interior Design is one of the few firms in Fairfield County that offers budget-friendly make-overs. These work a bit differently than the typical design projects. We will meet to discuss style and budget, I will present a general design concept. Upon approval, I will go out and purchase in-stock items at places like Ikea, Home Goods, Pier One, or Tag Sales, and deliver and install over the course of a few days. This option is subject to designer's availability.

Ryan Thomas Smith was born and raised in a small Ohio town on the shore of Lake Erie. After graduating from Ohio University, and working in his family's local business, he decided to follow his passion. In 2002, he and his wife Mindy sold everything they owned and moved to New York City where Ryan attended the prestigious New York School of Interior Design in Manhattan. After his formal training, he worked with some of the areas top firms as both Project Manager and Senior Designer. In 2016, he founded RTS Interior Design, LLC. which is based in Greenwich. His mission as a designer is to always put his clients' wishes first. In the end, it is the client that will live in the space, and they need to feel comfortable throughout the project. The goal is always to create a space that exceeds the clients' wishes for both form and function.

Most clients' prefer the full-service design option. Whether one room, or the whole house, our full-service interior design service involves designing your space from start to finish. We will meet to determine the scope-of-work, budget, and style preferences. Ryan Thomas Smith will then develop various design options for presentation, and offer detailed proposals, place all orders, and see the project through to final installation.
